For Sale, Scenery, (Update)

Hello there! I have been asked by a few viewers to post some more detailed photos of the scenery items, that I have on sale at the moment.

As requested here are a few more photos along with a ruler, to judge size, and some Perry 28mm French Napoleonic Light Infantry, for scale comparison.

The 'Foam Explosion Markers' vary in size. Here they are 2", (50mm), in height. They are light weight, coloured and sold as you see here. As seen above some have 'limbs' while others are a single plume.

Here are the single plume variety.

Here are some of the larger type.

This top view shows the larger type on the bottom left the smaller single plume on the top right and small multi 'limb' or plume on the other corners.

The boards that hold each item can be identified by their board numbers. Here '19' identifies these multi 'limb' markers.

The explosion markers are priced as per the boards they are affixed to.

Three large markers are £12.
Four medium markers are £12
Six small markers are £12
All prices are exclusive of postage and packing. My packaging price is usually negligible as it is reused packaging.

These are the largest conifer trees I have in stock. At 6", (150mm), high, they are made of Woodland Scenics clump foliage but unlike the model railway scenery these trees have a hard finish and will not fall apart. As the clump foliage is hard, in the unlikely event that any piece may fall off, it can be reaffixed with a small amount of medium gel super glue.

They are based on two pence pieces and flocked on the base. The finished article is air brushed, a lighter shade is added from above to represent reflected sunlight and the whole item is varnished.

Three large conifer trees, such as these above, are £12, excluding postage and packing.

Here are the Deciduous trees from my stock which are made from the same materials as the conifer trees and the tree trunks are reinforced with a layer of Milliputt, modelling filler which is scored to provide a rough surface, painted and drybrushed.

This avoids the fact that the tree armatures from Woodland Scenics can be a bit fragile if dropped.

These items are 3", (75mm), high, but have a subtle variation in height depending on how the armatures are bent.

Four Deciduous trees are £12, excluding postage and packing.

Here are the largest Deciduous trees that I make. They are made in the same way as those above, however due to their large size they are on larger, laser cut MDF bases. The smaller tree on the left, above, is on a smaller base.

These vary between 4 1/2" to 7" tall.

Each tree is £13, excluding postage and packing

I also have in stock these old style haystacks. Before mechanisation the harvest was gathered into a pile, on logs, which provided a passage of air under the stack to dry it. It was stacked around a central pole and ropes holding other logs on the 'roof' stopped it blowing away.

I have painted, varnished and based examples and unpainted examples. There are two types, part used, (the top photo), and 'full', (bottom photo).

Old style haystack unpainted............£6.00, (not illustrated)
Old style haystack painted................£11.00
Old style partial haystack..................£5.00
Old style partial haystack painted.....£10.00
All excluding postage and packing.

'Board 19' has multi limbed explosion markers are are from 2 1/2" to 3" high.

This board, (number 12), Has three much larger markers on it and would probably not be suited to figures smaller that 28mm in height.

Three larger markers are £12, excluding postage and packing.

These smaller markers are 2", (50mm), in height.

Six markers are £12 excluding postage and packing.

I also have foam woods which, although will not win any horticultural identification prize, cover a large area on the wargaming table, for a relatively cheap price.

Hardened with PVA and water these are soaked in paint, dried and drybrushed.

They come in various sizes and shapes and vary between £5 up to £10 with a clearing.

These are very light and will not shatter or cause death and destruction to you other scenery or figures if dropped!

Please either message me through this blog or message as before through my Facebook page, here.
